Softball - Kristan's favorite activity in high school was softball. She loved being able to meet new people and make life long friends!

Bubbly - Kristan would like to be remembered as the bubbly girl who was able to fulfill her aspirations. At first she's shy, but when she gets to know somebody, "I’m very goofy". She believes this is important because she's able to lighten the mood. Kristan plans to attend Lamar University to obtain a degree in the field of psychology.

FAMILY - Because of her busy work load, when Kristan has free time she likes to relax with my family and friends. "The time I get with them is precious." When asked who she would choose to take on a road trip, she said "I would take a road trip with my family because my family is so dysfunctional and it makes life fun!"

God - Kristan recently read “Macbeth” by William Shakespeare and it touched on the idea of not to mess with destiny. She feels this is important to her because, even though she says she doesn't know what’s best nor what plans God has for her, she has to be patient and trust in Him. Her mom's dreams for Kristan's future - That she follows Gods plan for her life.

Hozier - Kristan's favorite artist is Hozier because his music has underlying themes. For example, his song “Cherry Wine” shows support for victims of domestic abuse.

Words for Underclassmen -"If I could go back to freshman year, I would have embraced the moments while I was there. I was so focused on grades that I often didn’t stop and realize that I would wish to go back. Life happened so fast and I didn’t even notice it."

Why JOPSeniors - "The overall experience was so personal! I got to experience many photo shoots that embraced my underneath beauty. The program is amazing in every aspect. Before my session I was so excited and couldn’t wait. Photos make me feel so beautiful and during, I felt like a model! After, I was glad it was over because I knew they would be amazing!"
